Adding A Little Pizzazz to My Day

My new $3.00 dress has become my favorite. I was donating some things to one of the local charity/thrift shops, decided to look around, and there, hanging on the end of a rack was the perfect dress for me. I love it!

I’ve turned my sun room into a funky sewing room. Mixing the old with the new, an old farmer’s table is now my sewing table and the Jetson-style chair (below) that swivels, along with other high tech gear, add the new. The table and chair were great “finds” on Craigslist here in Sarasota. (Abby, my cat, loves the chair, too.)

I’m sewing quilts for my grandsons. On the left is the start of five-year-old Paul’s Dinosaur Train quilt. Three-year-old James wants a super hero, Hulk and Spiderman quilt, so I’ll be busy.
