This pillow case is one that my Grandma Hale crocheted. I used to iron it when I was a kid.

It’s true. The frozen pillow cases were easier to iron, but I’d forgotten the other step of my Saturday morning ironing routine. After I pressed the frozen clothes I had to hang them up to finish drying, because they were still damp.

So yes indeed, Mom, you were right! But I think I’ll still stick with the electric dryer.
