One Book Read

Lee County One Book, One Community website.

So Many People; Not Enough Books

One Book programs promote reading and understanding in communities. The problem is everyone wants to read the same book at the same time. The solution is to put the book, or at least part of the book online so everyone can access it.

A Land Remembered. Click to read. Our unique and trusted relationship with publishers allows us to display, at your website, the first two or three chapters of the book that your community is reading.

Instead of reaching 1,000 people, you can reach 100,000 people. Teachers can encourage kids to log-in at school. Business people can read at their offices. Commuters can print the pages and read them on their way to work.

Lee County Library System featured the book, A Land Remembered, at their One Book Read. Start reading...

Page design...

We can design the web pages so they tie into the theme and artwork for your One Book Read. Or, we can design a theme for you.

Book forum...

Along with the book content, we can provide a Forum for readers to discuss the book online. Our staff can moderate the Forum for you.

Print friendly...

Some readers like to print the pages, so we provide a print friendly version. See example...

Audio book available...

Many times we can provide the audio version of the book. People in your community can visit your website and listen to the book, too.

Promote services...

This is an ideal time to promote your daily book clubs and other services at your library. At the bottom of each page, we encourage readers to join the book clubs. We also include links to other library services.
